# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They're done before anyone finishes getting dressed, warm and glossy on the table in under twenty minutes.
  • The air fryer gives them crisp, caramelized edges you don't get from a conventional oven.
  • You can make just two or all eight depending on who's awake, no waste.
02 -
  • If you skip preheating the basket, the bottoms stick and tear when you try to lift them out.
  • Twisting the dough too tight makes it spring back and lose its shape, a loose spiral works better.
  • The glaze thickens as it sits, so mix it right before you're ready to drizzle or it turns into paste.
03 -
  • Use a pizza cutter instead of a knife to slice the dough cleanly without dragging or tearing the layers.
  • If your air fryer runs hot, check the twists at six minutes to avoid burning the sugar on the bottom.
  • Let the butter cool for thirty seconds after melting so it doesn't melt the dough when you brush it on.
