Sweet apples dipped in smooth caramel and rolled in granola—crunchy, fun treats for snacking or parties.

# What You'll Need:

→ Apples

01 - 4 medium Granny Smith apples

→ Caramel

02 - 1 cup soft caramels (approximately 28 pieces), unwrapped
03 - 2 tablespoons heavy cream

→ Granola Coating

04 - 1 1/2 cups granola (nut-free or nutty as preferred)
05 - 1/4 cup chopped roasted nuts (optional, such as pecans or almonds)

→ Extras

06 - 8 wooden popsicle sticks

# Directions:

01 - Wash and thoroughly dry apples. Slice each apple in half and remove the core using a melon baller or spoon. Insert a popsicle stick into the flat side of each apple half.
02 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
03 - Combine caramels and heavy cream in a small saucepan. Heat over low, stirring continuously, until the mixture is melted and smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 1 minute.
04 - Place granola and chopped nuts, if using, into a shallow dish.
05 - Dip each apple half in the melted caramel, turning to ensure an even coating. Allow any excess caramel to drip off.
06 - Immediately roll the caramel-coated apple in granola, gently pressing to adhere the coating.
07 - Place the assembled pops on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes to set the caramel layer.
08 - Serve chilled or at room temperature.
