# What You'll Need:
→ Main
01 - 6 large eggs
02 - 2 tbsp mayonnaise
03 - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Black pepper, to taste
06 - 2 oz (60 g) cream cheese, softened
07 - 2 tbsp finely chopped chives
→ Decoration
08 - 1 medium carrot
09 - 12 black peppercorns or black sesame seeds (for eyes)
10 - Small piece red bell pepper (for beaks)
11 - 6 small yellow cherry tomatoes (for duckling bodies)
12 - 6 small mozzarella balls (bocconcini, for duckling heads)
13 - Fresh parsley leaves (optional, for garnish)
# Directions:
01 - Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 9 minutes. Cool under running cold water and peel.
02 - Halve eggs lengthwise and carefully remove yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, cream cheese, chives, salt, and pepper until smooth.
03 - Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into egg white halves to form plump bodies. Use small carrot triangles for beaks and black peppercorns or sesame seeds for eyes. Optionally, add small carrot pieces for feet.
04 - Halve cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls. Skewer each mozzarella ball and cherry tomato with a toothpick to form the head and body. Attach a small red bell pepper triangle as a beak and use black sesame seeds for eyes.
05 - Arrange chicks and ducklings on a platter with parsley leaves for garnish. Serve immediately or refrigerate until needed.
