# What You'll Need:
→ Sponge Layer
01 - 10.5 oz store-bought pound cake or sponge cake, cubed
→ Fruit Layer
02 - 9 oz mixed berries (fresh or thawed)
03 - 2 tbsp orange juice
→ Custard Layer
04 - 13.5 fl oz ready-made vanilla custard
→ Whipped Cream
05 - 8.5 fl oz heavy cream
06 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
→ Garnish
08 - 2 tbsp toasted flaked almonds (optional)
09 - 2 tbsp grated dark chocolate (optional)
10 - Whole berries or mint leaves for decoration
# Directions:
01 - Toss mixed berries with orange juice in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
02 - Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
03 - Place a layer of cubed cake at the base of each serving glass.
04 - Spoon berries along with their juices over the cake layer.
05 - Pour a generous layer of vanilla custard on top of the berries.
06 - Repeat layers if glasses are tall, finishing with a layer of whipped cream.
07 - Decorate each cup with toasted almonds, grated chocolate, and a few whole berries or mint leaves.
08 - Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor and texture.
