# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with muffin papers.

03 - Add the cold cubed butter to the dry mixture and blend using a pastry blender or fingers until a coarse crumb forms.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, beaten egg, bourbon, and maple syrup until smooth.
05 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently stir just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
